Unleash Your Potential - More Freedom in Design and Interfacing
No longer bound to the restrictions of commodities, your application can finally unleash its full potential. Components shouldn’t transfer their limitations to your entire system, but rather components need to adapt to the requirements of the system. Our bearing design methodology offers the best of all worlds: Interface freedom, application maximization and efficient economics. We engineer the solution. We manufacture the product. We continuously provide testing and documentation.
Our Series
We currently have seven distinct standardized wire raceway systems which we use as our launch pad for each product category. You specify requirements related to size, load dimensions, material strength, temperature conditions, and we combine these needs with our adaptive CAD structures. The result is the efficient creation of specific structures that seamlessly integrate into your design as a COTs or MOTs product – down to the last µ!
- Light weight, due to aluminum
- Uniform frictional torque with non-uniform adjacent construction
- Low noise – at low or high speeds
- Suitable for applications with shock and vibration loads
- Low maintenance
- Higher corrosion protection through the application of suitable surface treatment
LRL-V
Application
- Azimuth Bearing for Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS)
- Azimuth mounting of gun mounts (ring mounts)
- Vertical fixed mount for turret guns
Advantages
- Low frictional torque
- Can transmit tilting moment load
- Internal or external toothing possible
- Surface treatment can be adapted to STANAG requirements
LRL-K
Application
- Azimuth Bearing for Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS)
- Lateral pivot bearing for turrets or radar systems
- Vertical fixed bearing for turrets
Advantages
- High tilting rigidity
- High concentricity of the gearing
- Surface treatment adaptable to STANAG requirements
- Hybrid design possible
LRL-R
Application
- Vertical floating bearing for turrets
Advantages
- Axial displacement from the zero position for length compensation
- Mounting interface adaptable to adjacent construction
- High radial rigidity
LRL-S
Application
- Azimuth bearings for turrets
- Altitude bearings for turrets
Advantages
- High static axial loads possible
- Transfering axial- and radial forces and tilting moments
- Higher tilting rigidity than comparable LRL-K raceway bearing
- Uniform frictional torque, even with twisted adjacent construction
LRL-A2R
Application
- Stationary gun turrets
Advantages
- For applications with an requirement of high static and dynamic loads
- Very high stiffnesses (even higher compared to LRL-S)
- Design with the highest load ratings and therefore designed for high loads
- Highest rigidity values in axial and radial direction, as well as tilting rigidity
