Overview

Contemporary travel means experiencing internet reception at 16 km above sea level. This system requires extremely precise azimuth and elevation positioning. The special feature is the combination of installation space and weight restrictions with special environmental requirements during take-off, flight and landing.

Development

IBO developed extremely thin-walled parts using its own clamping technology and found a solution for connecting system components that have an atypical geometry. Extremely low frictional torques were also achieved. The system is therefore able to establish and maintain high-precision reception with satellites.

Result

A contribution to reducing kerosene consumption with our lightweight solution. IBO component installed in almost every commercial Lear Jet in the world.

Defense

The changed conditions in the area of operations require a so-called close and short-range protection system to defend against drones and protect troop movements. Such a system must combine high forces with maximum precision.

Defense

One component of the Main Sensory Slaved Armament (MSSA) is the stabilized electronic optical sensor system (SEOS). The associated bearings are characterized by high rigidity and accuracy between clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. Because at a firing range of several kilometers, every thousandth of a degree of deviation is crucial.
